Digital Skills
Thesis skills, verified anywhere.
Supervisors and institutions issue verifiable digital skills in MyThesis to certify a student’s competence, during the thesis and after it. Students keep them and share them, and anyone can check they are genuine.
- Issued by the supervisor or the institution
- Given during the thesis and after it
- Skills named with the ESCO taxonomy
- Downloaded, or shared through a verify link
- Attached to Hiring Bridge applications
From thesis work to a verified skill.
- iPick the skillThe supervisor chooses the skill from the ESCO taxonomy, linked to the task or milestone where the student showed it.
- iiIssue the credentialThe supervisor or the institution issues it in MyThesis, during the thesis or once it is complete.
- iiiThe student keeps itThe student downloads the credential or shares it with a link.
- ivAnyone can verify itThe verify link shows who issued it, when, and that nothing has been changed.
- vUse it for the next stepStudents attach credentials to Hiring Bridge applications, so companies see skills that are proven.
Show what you can do, not just your grade.
A grade says how the thesis went. A credential says what you learned to do: data analysis, field research, programming, academic writing.
You keep every credential, download it, share it with a link, and attach it when you apply through the Hiring Bridge.
Recognize skills where they are shown.
Supervisors issue credentials inside MyThesis at the moment a skill is demonstrated, or once the thesis is complete. Institutions can issue them in their own name.
Every credential is digitally signed, so the issuer’s name stays attached to it wherever it goes.

Built on open standards, made to travel.
Each credential follows Open Badges 3.0 and W3C Verifiable Credentials, uses the ESCO skills taxonomy and aligns with Europass. Anyone can check it is genuine, without calling the university.
